Panthers on the Prowl
An initiative of the Penrith Panthers, this local area charity seeks to provide support to children most at risk of disengaging from school and the education system. Attended by Panthers team players and situated within CUA Stadium Penrith, the charity’s classroom is equipped with computers, printers and photocopiers provided by CUA.
The program, which also offers local CUA staff the chance to be involved with primary age children, focuses on building resilience, improving confidence, developing and maintaining positive relationships and assisting students in selecting alternative solutions to problems. Panthers on the Prowl is planning to extend the program to secondary age students shortly.
