CUA has won the coveted Credit Union of the Year 2009 title at the annual Australian Banking and Finance Awards, announced on 28 May in Sydney.
Having developed over 18 years to become the most prestigious, established and recognised accolades for the Australian financial services industry, these awards are widely regarded as the industry’s “night of nights”, rewarding excellence, achievement and service to the sector by individuals and organisations. For the first time, this year’s awards process involved judging by an independent panel of finance industry experts.
