Travellers to take flight with heavy pockets

Travellers can take advantage of the dollar's 24-year high and secure extra spending money by pre-loading holiday funds in US Dollar, Pounds Sterling or Euro through a CUA (Credit Union Australia) Travelex prepaid Cash Passport Card.

CUA Managing Director Mr Graham Olrich said apart from the benefit of fixed exchange cash rates, the Cash Passport could be used immediately and topped up either in person, by phone, or the Internet.

"The Cash Passport is an ideal way to take advantage of the high current exchange rates and get the most out of holiday spending, no matter when you plan on travelling," he said.

"It gives users access to their cash at more than one million Visa ATMs worldwide and comes with a free second back-up card, plus access to free yearly emergency assistance."

Cash Passports can be ordered by dropping into your local CUA branch.
