CUA - Australia's largest credit union appoints new board member

CUA has further strengthened the financial experience of its Board of Directors by appointing Alan E Beanland.
Chair of the Board, Kevin Ross, warmly welcomed Mr Beanland to CUA. “Alan will be a great asset to CUA with his tremendous skills and experience in the financial services sector.”
Mr Ross explained it was the Alan’s expertise that decided the appointment, “Mr Beanland has more than 40 years experience spanning four continents serving as a director, senior executive or consultant. His primary focus has been within the financial services sector with strong expertise within superannuation and life insurance. This type of background means that CUA is better placed than ever before to tackle future challenges.”
Currently, Mr Beanland is Chairman of Superpartners, Australia’s largest superannuation administrator, and is also a Director of Spotless Group Limited and Hancock Victorian Plantations. Alan continues to advise selected businesses in the financial services, technology and property sectors.
Mr Beanland commenced his position on the board in late September.
